Question: How are you able to assess candidate’s computer skills to ensure they qualify for our positions prior to sending the candidate to our company?

SkillCheck provides the highest quality testing products and services, and is also the developer of the Internet and Computing Core Certification (IC3) - the new IT certification that is revolutionizing computing education worldwide. With more than 800 products available for PC, network and Internet deployment, 1ST TEAM Staffing can utilize customized programs to meet an organization’s more targeted testing needs.


Question: How can I get a 1ST TEAMStaffing Representative to help me with supervising my 1ST TEAM Employees?

Answer: If your business requires a large number of 1ST TEAM Staffing associates on a regular basis, you can benefit from a customized on-site management program to assist in supervision and trainings. 1ST TEAM can provide a dedicated, on-site coordinator at your facility to serve as an extension of your Human Resources department.

Our service consultants can work with you to develop a customized program using some of the following available options:

  • Customized orientation
  • On-site interviewing and recruiting
  • Safety training
  • Check in/out of all employees on all shifts
  • Employee reviews
  • Adjusting staff levels to meet production requirements
  • Time and attendance reports

Question: Do you offer permanent placements?

Answer: To provide our clients with time efficient and cost effective service, 1ST TEAM will recruit and screen permanent candidates for our companies. Some of our clients prefer to hire people for high level or specialty positions, and 1ST TEAM responds to those needs by finding highly qualified candidates to be presented to the company for final interviews.


Question: How long does it take before we can hire a Temp-to-Perm employee?

Answer: Usually, our clients prefer to work with a Temp-to-Perm employee for at least 90 working days to get a true feel for the employee’s skills and behaviors. However, if a client needs to convert a temporary employee to a permanent employee before three months, we work with our clients to hire our associates. Ultimately, this allows us to attract and retain better employees seeking fulltime career opportunities.


Question: Since you perform drug and background screenings for 1ST TEAM Staffing Associates, can you also provide screenings on our in-house employees?

Answer: Yes, 1ST TEAM Staffing can perform drug and background screening for your in-house employees. We receive volume discounts on drug and background screening, and pass along those discounts to our customers. Our customers are getting the same results and in the same time, but for half the price for each test by utilizing our service. We can also send a service representative to your facility to collect background information and drug specimens with results coming back to you within 48 hours.
